This is for delivery only: We ordered the mussman curry, yellow curry, silver noodle salad, and veggie tom yum. The order arrive quickly and was hot. The silver noodle salad was okay. There were a lot of noodles, but hardly any veggies. The yellow curry was okay. The flavor was on the bland side, but there were a lot of veggies, tofu, and it came with rice. My favorite was the mussman curry. The beef was so tender and it was loaded with veggies. It also came with rice. The pricing was reasonable as well. Definitely a change from over ten years ago.

Nice area find while visiting CSUN. Saturday afternoon service was fantastic. Pad Kee Mao with chicken requested spicy was made perfectly. Hot, flavorful, large serving. I would definitely go back.

I got the restaurant from Yelp... Because it was close to where I was driving to... And I am so pleasantly surprised it is actually the best Tom yum soup I have had in a long time‼‼

I've heard so many good things about this restaurant and people say it's amazing Thai food, the "best in the valley". So, wanted to form my own opinion and I ordered the Thai iced tea and the chicken pad see ew to go. I thought the Thai tea was good, but a little watered down but the pricing was good. The customer service was good, it was a little busy in there which was good. I liked the setup of the restaurant too, seemed like they can accommodate a lot of customers that want to dine in. The chicken pad see ew was definitely good, but I wouldn't say it was the best. Overall good food, and I was more than satisfied with my meal

Especially delicious Thai joint. This is a Thai select spot so you're in good hands. The Lum-Ka-Naad menu is eclectic to say the least. My girlfriend and I spent at least 10 minutes going through their chapters of selection. I liked that they had organized the menu using the regionally popular dishes from Thailand. The service was so quick, friendly, and warm. I enjoyed the dim lighting, dark wooden furniture and their postings on the wall of some insight on the restaurant's history. Our meals were ready within about 10-15 minutes after ordering. My favorite entree was the duck noodle soup, i think the portion was very good. Their broth was delicious and savory. Excellent choice for a soup lover. One thing my girlfriend loved was the garlic fish. It was served nice and crispy with a hefty amount of protein. The bites were savory crunchy and even better with the green sauce, it was very similar to some salsa verde. Amazing restaurant was excellent dishes, staff and history. I was a bit turned off by having to pay extra for white rice considering their entree prices are on the higher average range but still worth a visit!!

Came here on a Wednesday around 8 pm. We parked in the very tiny lot in the alley behind the restaurant but there are also a few parking spots on the street. We were greeted and seated immediately. There were also 5 other groups of 2 eating. The inside is a warm burgundy and has warm wooden features. There's a bar, small tv, and a good view of the kitchen. We asked our server for some of her favorites and we ended up ordering a large Thai tea with no ice, the duck noodle soup (medium spicy), crispy fish with garlic, and kuah gling with beef (medium spicy). The food doesn't automatically come with rice but we decided not to get any. While we waited, I looked at their awards and news clippings on the wall. This place has been around for a while and has thai select recognition. The food was ready very quickly. We finished the kuah gling quickly. It was a smaller portion than I was expecting but it was delicious. There were slices of tender beef with a thick and salty curry sauce and it was served with 4 slices of cucumber and a small wedge of lettuce. The flavor was great. It was spicy but not too spicy for me, pretty hot for my boyfriend though whose tongue needed time to recover before tasting the other dishes. The duck noodle soup was just as I expected, very rich broth. It was a large portion, with plenty of noodles and a decent amount of duck slices. I love duck noodle soup! However, I didn't think this was spicy at all and my boyfriend agreed. I'm not sure if they ended up making it medium spicy because it was nowhere near close to the spice level of the curry. The fried fish was delicious! The skin was crispy as was the meat around the cut marks made by the chef. The fried garlic added a lot of flavor but the best flavor came from the seafood sauce. The fish meat behind the intact skin was super tender and juicy. I definitely want to try recreating this sometime. We had to remind our server of our Thai tea and she immediately went to get it. It was a very large bottle. Definitely on the sweeter side without ice. We took half of it home to add a little more milk. But just like any good Thai tea for sure. Great Thai spot in the valley! Would definitely return. My favorite Thai select restaurant in LA ever? No, but worth coming to if you're by it.

Lum-Ka-Naad Thai Restaurant is truly a hidden gem! The menu is huge, offering something for everyone, and the portions are next level. I had the Pad See Ew with chicken. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, with plenty of seating and super friendly service. It's no wonder they're so popular! As I was leaving, I noticed a ton of to-go orders waiting to be picked up, so clearly, this place has a strong local following. And the parking? Free! You can park out front on the street or in the lot out back

Incredible Thai food. I wanted to try something new rather than the standard pad Thai, pad see ew, fried rice, or curry. I was not disappointed. I ordered the Khao Soi with a chicken drumstick and cleaned my bowl. The curry was creamy and a little spicy. Chicken was nice and crispy, and the noodles were great as well. The egg rolls tasted great with the sweet and sour sauce and even better dipped into the curry. The fried banana with coconut ice cream was the perfect finish to an unforgettable course. Crispy banana with a creamy bite of coconut ice cream. The service was nothing exceptional, but the food did all the talking. The interior is also really nice and has great art and lighting. Long story short, quality Thai food.

This Thai restaurant is a hidden gem! The vast menu offers something for everyone, and the portions are incredibly generous. My Pad See Ew with chicken was delicious, and it was enough to share with my toddler and have leftovers. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, with plenty of seating and friendly service. I can see why they're so popular. As I was leaving, they had a ton of to go orders ready, so it's definitely a popular spot with the locals. They even have ample free parking, both on the street out front and in a lot out back (accessible through the alley).
